We’re delighted to welcome our new Chief Engineer, David Hession IEng MICE MaPS to our Major Loss team.
Based in our Manchester Office, Dave will have a national role, with a focus on larger heritage / complex building losses and will lead the further development of our own contractor network, Quadrassist.
Dave brings a wealth of experience, including work on high-profile cases such as the alleged landslip to Southampton Dock, residential block fires, and other complex losses.
Starting at an array of Consulting Engineer Practices from 1984-2000, Dave obtained his IEng AMICE status in 1994, later becoming MICE in 2010. Dave joined Ashworth Mairs Group) in 2000 as a Subsidence Engineer, where he was then promoted to Associate Director. Here he took on various roles including setting up and implementing a QA audit system for Subsidence and Surveying Services and helping to set up and implement a Hub Model Subsidence product. From here, Dave moved to QuestGates in 2012 and was involved in implementing a subsidence hub model which was very successful.
We’re excited by the skills and know-how that Dave is bringing to the team and look forward to working alongside him.
