At Quadra, we’re committed to providing an exceptional claims handling service that brings value to your business. We’re driven by our 4 guiding principles, which include a commitment to take responsibility and ownership of everything we do.
We take our responsibilities seriously – including the promotion of sustainable practices and limiting our environmental impact. They are responsibilities that clearly align with the ISO 14001 accreditation that we recently achieved. This internationally renowned standard recognises our commitment to environmental management and sets out how we’ll continue working towards long-term sustainable goals.
At Quadra, we strive to be market leaders in everything we do with the ambition to deliver excellence all of the time, so we need to constantly evolve our working practices to ensure we can tackle new challenges and develop new solutions. It also means we are better placed to use our influence to encourage sustainability from the other businesses and organisations that interact with us.
This is particularly important in the construction sector, where Quadra is leading the way in reassessing how to deal with the process of waste disposals. Certain products such as timber, metals, and even plastics can be recycled. Other materials, particularly gypsum and plaster are more problematic to deal with. Our objective is to ensure the waste is disposed of and handled properly without fail, and by companies and organisations that are approved by the Environment Agency.
As well as being easy for our clients, contractors and staff to assess, proper environmental management helps Quadra to stay one step ahead of our competitors.
Our Board Director, Simon Jones, views it as crucial in how Quadra operates as a business and how our principles are driven by changing needs.
“It’s important for Quadra to remain sustainable and ethical in our approach,” he says. “Going forward, we’re likely to face new environmental concerns which will change the types of claims we handle. So now is the time for us to start making practical changes to ensure we can make a positive impact. That means we’re reassessing how we conduct our business at all levels. That’s good for our customers because they’ll know they’re dealing with experts who share the same environmental concerns.”
The ISO 14001 accreditation will help Quadra to ensure that sustainability remains a central pillar of our working practice. That provides reassurance and safeguards for our clients and contractors who will always know that we are experts in delivering excellence and committed to a more environmentally conscious way of working. And, as ISO 14001 is an adaptable and continuous framework, Quadra will be able to evolve and enhance our approach as the world around us changes.
